Designed by the legendary trio of John C. Austin, Albert C. Martin, and John Parkinson, Los Angeles City Hall (completed in 1928) is a stunning fusion of Art Deco geometry and Beaux-Arts grandeur. For over 30 years, it was the only skyscraper allowed to rise above the city's 150-foot height limit, standing as a solitary white beacon in the center of DTLA.

Its fame extends far beyond architecture lovers. It is famous as the Daily Planet building from the classic Adventures of Superman TV series and the star of the Dragnet title card.
